Mercs still have class. They may be a little behind in terms of exterior design (the interiors knock spots off a beeemer) but Beeemers are now like up market Ford Cortinas...they're everywhere...plus every spotty oik aspires to have one. I don't deny that they are great machines, but I wouldn't be seen dead in the same car as my local blinged up drugdealer!...not unless he shot me with his MP5K of course

benzzz like one of the guys up there gotta stay loyal. but me likes bmw's too only problem i found is no cupholders big nuff lol..which prob aint a problem lol
mercedes ALREADY lost it years ago and if they wont change their philosophy they will find themselfs fighting VW for one of the lower seats..
BMW IS about to loose it, becaus mr. bangle maybe would be a great gift to chrysler, mitsubishi or maybe even ford, but he has no clue about the classical understandment and the character of a good BMW (like the old 5er for example had). BUT they are still selling great due to the brands value, so the question is.. for how long?!

(hadnt the time yet to read the other comments..). well anyways, the most kickass hardcore on the edge candy design coming along with one of the best engines and technology is from.. (drums here) ..AUDI
Audi seriously is for sure the leading german car factory and it will gain more and more success in the next years.
